There are numerous references to cursed objects in the Bible in both the Old Attestation and in the New Attestation. Objects can be cursed for a diverseness of reasons and to different degrees according to the item itself and too to the attitude of its owner. Objects tin can exist particularly cursed if they are idolatrous, or connected with idolatry, somehow profane, or directly connected with evil and the devil, such as occult symbols and paraphernalia, and so forth.

It is non unusual to find occult symbolism in churches or in Christian literature.
